… that today is Library of Congress Day? On this day in 1800, the Library of Congress, the world’s largest library, was established in Washington, DC. There are over 175 million items in its collections, including rare children’s books, the world’s smallest and largest books, presidential papers, the Gutenberg Bible, and more. About 10,000 new items are added each day to its collections!
