To make our understanding crystal clear, Limericks on “isms”

Explain different “Isms” so that even a layman can understand them and know the difference.

Capitalism

There once was an economic guy, Who thought that the market should fly. So he said, “Let it!” And it did, oh so well. But the poor people all cried, “Why?”

Communism

There once was an economic plan, That said everyone should be equal, man. But it didn’t work, And the people did lurk. So they ate all the bread, and it was a pain.

Democracy

There once was a system so fair, That it let everyone have a share. But it wasn’t perfect, And sometimes it hurt. But it was still better than any other flair.

Feminism

There once was a woman named Jill, Who was tired of being treated like swill. So she said, “No more!” And stood up for more. And now she’s a role model for all.

Humanism

There once was a man named Jack, Who thought that all people were pack, Of intelligent beings, Who all deserved their wings, And should treat each other with respect, that’s that!

Nationalism

There once was a country called France, Who thought it was better than all the rest. But it wasn’t so, And they lost their dough, And now they’re just like the rest.

Socialism

There once was an economic plan, That said everyone should share in the land. But it didn’t work, And the people got mired, In a system that was full of sand.
