“If you set out to be liked, you would be prepared to compromise on anything at any time, and you would achieve nothing.”

Free Verse:

To be liked or to succeed,
A choice we often have to heed.
But if we aim for popularity,
We’ll lose our sense of morality.

For compromise is the cost,
Of popularity that we sought.
We give up what we truly believe,
To fit in and to deceive.

But if we stand for what is right,
And work hard with all our might,
We can achieve greatness, it’s true,
And be liked for being true to you.

Limerick:

If you aim to be liked by all,
You’ll soon find yourself in a fall.
For compromise is the price,
To be popular, it’s not nice.
Better to stand tall and answer the call.

Haiku:

Compromise for likes,
Leads to nothing but defeat.
Be true to yourself.
